In Progress

Introduction

An injury in an African setup is usually likened to the end of a carrier. Thousands of athletes are leaving the billion-dollar industry yearly, due to the missing link between the post clinical stage and return to play guidelines. Rehabilitation of an injured athlete is a collective measure between clinical (Doctors, Physiotherapists, and Medics), and Technical team (Coaches, fitness trainers, and Sports Scientists). Coaches spend 95% of their time with athletes hence they should be knowledgeable on how to deal with injuries in the field of play and post clinical return to play guidelines. There are three important phases that should be passed through when an injury happens and the technical stuff is expected to be knowledgeable on the majority of the stages so as to understand where to start from during post clinical stages.
